Jacob’s brain cancer comeback
Life changed quickly and dramatically for young Jacob Trzecinski last year when he was diagnosed with brain cancer at the age of 15. Now he wants to raise funds for research to help others living with brain cancer.
The promising young football player and Manly United FC all-rounder was forced to hang up the boots following surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. But on Christmas Eve last year, Jacob finished his chemo, and was able to return home.
By August, he was well enough to once again take to the field for his beloved Manly United, under a guard of honour formed by the many teammates who’d supported him throughout treatment.
Jacob’s recovery is going well, and he’s now using his fast feet to help others by getting behind Kick It For Brain Cancer.
